New 3d models

Currently, I have been working with different ways of doing mesh with steel cable. The first one is the test I have already presented in a previous post, the result wasn´t what I expected because of the fact that the model mesh was complicated mainly because it tended to return to its original shape. In addition, there was other problem in which when I modeled it several times the mesh wire were heated and it broke easily so I decided to make a woven mesh. This process has been rather long and laborious. This process of realization is similar to 3D modeling but with physical objects.
Measures: 100cm x 50cm x 45cm

My intention is that this piece can be placed in public space, projecting shadows with the public lighting as I have made before. I will try to test this week. This installation will serve to me as a test for the final piece that I will present to the degree show.

I am currently modeling another face of the same size for an installation at the Bunker in Hackney next May.

I would try to copy a 3D model created in Poser and make it a physical object. To do this, Tim Pickup, a classmate whose work explores the movement, will help me to convert a model made in Poser on a set of separate lines. He has become virtual objects into physical objects in a very interesting way. I’ve been doing the opposite so far, but maybe this can help me improve my skills to do better shapes.
