Last week I was carrying out a test in the study in Wilson road. I mounted a small installation with a motor and a mesh with a face modeled. I have projected on the mesh some busts pictures that I photographed at the V & A. My intention was to test how the projection worked on the grid and analyze all the possible problems that I can find for my final piece.
The projection on the wall is out of focus because my inttention is that the face appears focused correctly on the mesh. My idea is that the shadow of the grid interact with the image projected on the wall, but the shadow of the grid was very tenuous. One possible solution would be to use a coarser grid or also test with a video projector with more lumens.
The circular motion with the engine has not convinced me for which I carried out a small movie to test with the piece static and the image in movement. The result is interesting and maybe I could intersperse the two processes.
