The conversation

The conversation is an installation I prepared for the collective exhibition ‘It is over’ in an old bunker from the Second World War Dalston, London. The installation consisted of two faces separated by two meters distance. The two faces are facing each other and constantly revolve to a very slow rate by two engines hanging from the ceiling.

The two pieces are illuminated by two LEDs.  This tiny light pass through the holes of the grid, material which the faces are done, creating  two replicas of each of the faces through the projection their shadows. This relates to the game where tenebrist shadow becomes a drawing in which dialogue is drawn sight between both sides,  touch and overlap.
